Nooo…
This is so sad, if indeed it’s true.
Why is it that people can’t help to maintain or keep going independent cafes in Korea?
This cafe, right next to the former bus terminal yet also a fully-functioning bus stop area of Seogwipo (Jeju Island), was open last year and I really liked it’s unique, quirky but also cosy style and feel. I get emotional when these places dissapear.
While I am still in Jeju, I will endeavour to find out or see if it’s likely to reopen, but for now it doesn’t look promising.
I also have some pictures from last year and maybe a video, and so perhaps I’ll show them at a later date, if you’re interested in seeing them…
(And speaking video of Korean related places or more precisely, Korean /Asian films and movie-making in general, feel free to check out my long-running MiniMiniMovie.com website – A new post will appear there soon!)
