Hangul: Basic, Bold & for Beginners?

Here at F U C (Fonts, Undergrounds & Cafés… in Korea) we & I are sometimes fascinated with not only the simplicity of Hangul but also the ‘straight-forward’ yet bold Hangul styles.

This sign – probably not dissimilar to others out there – shows how simple yet grand such ‘lettering’ can be.

This is not to advertise this particular business but only to show the kinds of signs spotted around Korea – this one was captured in the Baesan or Mangmi-dong area of Busan.

(And speaking photos or indeed video of Korean-related places or more precisely, Korean /Asian films and movie-making in general, feel free to check out my long-running MiniMiniMovie.com website – A new post will appear there soon!)
